Setting up and running your business, or turning your passions or hobbies into a
business venture where you and your family’s income and future is reliant upon it’s
success is a very scary thing to do and can be a lonely place to live. 

That’s where the Business Connect group is a great place to be. You soon come to
realise that you are not alone and that there is help from all sorts of people with
different backgrounds and levels of expertise, from qualified professionals, sole
traders, company directors, entrepreneurs, and probably one of the most
important gifts: common sense and a practical knowledge of the world and it’s
foibles. 

I have found that talking and bouncing ideas within in the group has helped to
clarify my own thoughts and strategies, plans that we as a company have
implemented. Listening to how other people deal with their problems and
aspirations can be of immense help. In some small part we can all help each other
to become productive in the running of our businesses with a good, practical
Christian work ethic.
